EMDR Intensives
EMDR intensives offer an extended, focused approach to trauma therapy for clients who want more time to process a specific experience, belief, trigger, or pattern without the interruption of a traditional 50-minute session.
Each intensive begins with a preparation session to clarify your goals, assess readiness, identify potential targets, and develop resources for grounding and emotional regulation. A follow-up session is also included to support integration and determine any recommended next steps.

Is an EMDR Intensive Right for Me?
An intensive may be helpful if you:
Have a specific experience or issue you want to address.
Feel limited by the start-and-stop nature of weekly sessions.
Have previously benefited from EMDR.
Want focused therapeutic work within a shorter period.
Are emotionally stable and have adequate support following the intensive.
EMDR intensives are not appropriate for every client. Readiness, safety, current symptoms, support systems, and treatment goals will be assessed before an intensive is scheduled. Completion of the preparation session does not guarantee that intensive processing will be recommended.
EMDR intensives are private-pay services. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided before treatment begins.
